About ISS Financial and Insurance Network (ISSFIN)
The ISS Financial & Insurance Network (ISSFIN) helps international schools meet their human resources and risk management objectives through the design and delivery of innovative and cost effective program solutions. Based in Princeton, NJ, USA, ISSFIN is a subsidiary of Independent Schools Group (ISG), which was incorporated August 12, 1999 as the for-profit affiliate of the International Schools Services (ISS) family of companies. ISSFIN manages EduCare International, a tailor-made health insurance solution for international schools launched in the 2004/2005 school year.
EduCare is custom designed to meet the specific coverage, budget and service needs of international educators. EduCare is the health insurance solution of choice for international schools insuring thousands of members in Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
EduCare is offered exclusively by the ISS Financial and Insurance Network (ISSFIN) and in cooperation with selected brokers such as AQIA. The program is insured and administered by Goodhealth Worldwide, a global insurance group with more than 25 years of experience meeting the medical insurance needs of expatriates around the world.
EduCare offers program options that let schools provide their staff access to elective medical care worldwide, including in the U.S. for those employees with U.S. citizenship. This is a major advantage when recruiting and retaining U.S. teachers. Employees with other nationalities are covered while traveling in the U.S., but only for emergency medical care. Offering this two-pronged approach in one consolidated program delivers administrative ease plus substantial cost savings to EduCare customers.
Some of the other important features of the EduCare plan include:
Medical benefits of up to US$ 1 Million per year
School/Policy Year Deductible plans of $100, $250, $500, $1,000
Full emergency medical evacuation and assistance coverage using the International SOS organization.
Optional life, accidental death, dental and vision plans.
A very robust wellness program with benefits up to $ 500 per person per year for routine check ups and inoculations.
Direct payment arrangements with leading hospitals and expatriate focused clinics across Asia and the rest of the world via the Goodhealth Direct Settlement Network and Guarantee of Payment program.
Convenient access to more than 400,000 physicians and 3,000 hospitals that are part of our preferred provider network across the USA.
Convenient access to more than 95% of all registered pharmacies across the U.S. via the BeneRx card program offering
